Palms Holiday Apartments in Strand near Cape Town, South Africa, are situated on a fully enclosed property and consist of 2 upmarket units, offering self-catering accommodation for vacation rentals. The two spacious self-catering apartments, 1 x one bedroom apartment (sleeps 2) and 1 x two bedroom apartment (sleeps 4), and are situated in an established neighbourhood in Strand in the Helderberg region, Western Cape.
These vacation rentals apartments are only 4 blocks away from the perfect white sandy beach of Strand that boasts a good selection of quality restaurants, bistros, shops and supermarkets.
Each self-catering apartment has two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, scullery, family room, kitchen/dining area and a separate toilet. The self-catering apartments are situated next to one another in a lovely well established garden with barbecue / braai facilities.

- Luxury Double Room: This spacious room consists of the following: king size extra length bed, 2 x pedestals with bed lights, wall mounted TV with a DSTV-satellite connection from the lounge, remote controlled air-conditioning, 100% cotton percale linen (395 count), towels and bath mats, 1 x hairdryer.
- Luxury Twin Room: Room consists of the same features as above with the following differences: single extra length beds which can be joined to form a king size bed (when joining the beds, a mattress-overlay is used which causes the hard edges of the mattresses to go unnoticed when sleeping on it).
- Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary cutlery and crockery for 6 persons as well as a fridge/freezer, microwave and a hob and oven. The necessary smaller appliances include a kettle, snackwich toaster, coffee percolator, etc.
- Scullery: The scullery is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. An iron and ironing board is at your disposal.
- Bathroom: The bathroom consists of a basin, bath, shower and a mirror cabinet.
- Toilet: The toilet is practically separate from the bathroom.
- Safe: Each room is equipped with a small electronic safe with an interior measurement of approximately 34cm x 24cm x 24cm.
- Garden: A small garden with lawn of approximately 25 m² exists next to the front entrance.
- Service: The apartments are cleaned every third day. Towels and linen will be replaced on the same day.
- Barbeque 'Braai' facilities : On the garden lawn is a mobile 'braai' for this purpose. (At the local boat slipway the fisherman regularly sells fish - depending on the weather circumstances. This usually happens during the late afternoon to early evening.)
- Golf Bag : A fully equipped golf bag is at your disposal at an additional cost of R75.00 per day.
- Guides and Registers : The Palms Guide contains all technical detail with regards to the Television, Video, DSTV (Satellite) and other appliances as well as emergency contact numbers of the local Police station, Fire department, Ambulance and Hospitals, Plumbers, Electricians as well as the manager. The guide further contains maps of all the popular destinations like golf courses, restaurants, etc.

The Palms apartments are perfectly positioned in the sense that it is only:
- 4 blocks from the beach (thus walking distance );
- 1,7 km from the golf course;
- 3,1 km from a huge shopping mall (Somerset Mall);
- 3,8 km from the N2 (National road to Cape Town);
- 20 minutes drive to Cape Town, Western Cape , South Africa.
- Situated in the Strand North area which is the safer suburb of the Strand.
- The Helderberg area (surrounding the Strand) has numerous entertainment and leisure possibilities and is also ideal for guests who love sea-life, golfing in a small town environment (but also close to Cape Town City).
Conditions
- Cottages & facilities are for the use of residents only! An additional fee will be charged for people/visitors staying over.
- Please note that a breakage/replacement fee of R 500.00 will be charged in the event of any damage to property or removal thereof (i.e. hairdryers, hangers etc.)

- NO BOOKING IS CONFIRMED WITHOUT A 50% DEPOSIT PAYMENT + BREAKAGE - LESS THAN 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL THE FULL AMOUNT DUE UPON BOOKING CONFIRMATION.
Cancellation Policy:
- Please note that a R 150.00 admin fee will be charged/deducted from the deposit in the event of any cancellation.
- Cancellation 0 to 7 days prior date of booking - forfeit 100% of booking
- Cancellation 0 to 7 days prior date of booking - forfeit 100% of booking
- Cancellation 8 to 14 days prior date of booking - forfeit 75% of booking
- Cancellation 15 to 21 days prior date of booking - forfeit 50% of booking
- Cancellation 22 to 30 days prior date of booking - forfeit 25% of booking
